The story of the prophet Idris AS

Not much information about The story of the prophet Idris in the Qur’an nor in the books of Tafsir and history books of the prophets. In the Qur’an there are only two verses about the prophet Idris is in surah Maryam verse 56 and 57 "And tell me {O Muhammad to them, } The story of the prophet Idris contained in the Qur'an. Indeed he was a very justified and a prophet. And We raised him to that high dignity. ".

prophet Idris was the sixth descendant of the prophet Adam was the son of Yarid bin Mihla'iel bin Qinan bin Anusy bin Syith bin Adam A.S. and blessed is the first offspring of prophecy became prophet after Adam and Syith.
prophet Idris in history while living in Egypt where he was preaching the religion of monotheism and worship of God taught to worship God and give some pendoman life for his followers to save himself from punishment in the hereafter and the destruction and misery in the world. He lived until the age of 82 years.
Among some of the advice and words of pearls is :

1. Patience of faith in God to bring victory.


2. People who are happy are those who alert and expect the intercession of his Lord by doing pious deeds


3. If you ask something to God, praying, fasting and praying to do with sincerity


4. Do not swear in a state you are lying and do not require an oath from people who lie so that you do not join them in sin.


5. Obey the king, your king and submit to your leaders and always thanksgiving and praise to God.


6. Do not envy the people who are better fate, because they will not be many and long enjoyed a good fate.


7. Anyone who exceeds simplicity nothing will satisfy them.


8. Without giving away the blessings that one can not be obtained to thank God for all the pleasure

In connection with the word of God that the prophet Idris was glorified, Ibn Abi Hatim narrated in his commentary that unlicensed prophet Idris was in heaven when he died four brought by an Angel.
