Number of Teens Giving birth in the U.S. Down


The

number of women age of 40 who gave birth increased, the trend is changing?
Center for Disease Control and Prevention United States reported this week (22/12) that the number of U.S. teenagers who gave birth to decline in 2009, to 39.1 cases per 1,000 teenagers, from 42.5 cases per 1,000 rate teenager in 2008.


Average rate of teenage births cases aged 15 to 19 of all ethnicities period of 2009 made history, as it reaches the lowest number so far.

National Center for Health Statistics also notes the average fertility decline. In general, in 2008 the figure 68.6 births per 1,000 women aged 15-44 years, then fell to 66.7 in 2009.


The total number of births also declined from 4,247,694 in 2008 to 4,131,019 in 2009. Entering the 2010 decline continues, officials said Center for Disease Control and Prevention United States.


The number of births by young women ages early 20s down to 7% in 2009. That figure is lowest since 1973. Women aged late 20s and 30s also showed the same phenomenon. But, the average births by women aged early 40s to increase in 2009.
